We are hiring a Principal Associate to support key HR processes and projects. The Principal Associate plays a critical role in delivering on key HR investments across the broader Human Resource Business Partner (HRBP) teams along with planning, monitoring and coordinating logistics for a number of processes, such as talent management and performance management activities.
Roles and Responsibilities
Serve as the primary POC to the CS&S + Risk HRBP Lead to ensure well-managed core HR processes and HR data insights
Partner with HRBPs and Talent and Performance Management Champions to execute the annual talent and performance calendar of activities
Develop and share walk-around decks, communications, and training materials to be used in preparing managers and associates; may include facilitator or “train the trainer” sessions
Process semi-annual promotions
Provide feedback to Experience Lead to help drive continuous improvement of these programs
Partner with HRBPs to develop All Associate Survey insights
Prepare All Associate Survey summary materials (deck and/or excel); includes scrubbing comments for inclusion in summary materials
Establish SME with HR data systems - Workday, People Data Hub, Talent Development Tool, etc.
Complete reporting as a part of key Talent Management/Performance Management/Survey processes
Provide data and reporting as needed for other requests, i.e. headcount tracking, spot bonus, spans and layers, etc on a regular and ad hoc basis
Participate in HR-related projects, as prioritized
Ensure HRBPs and business partners have a clear understanding of the processes, roles, responsibilities, and deadlines, resulting in well-managed HR processes
Partner with People Analytics team on dashboards and reporting
Partner with other Horizontal HR Partners to drive best-in class HR experiences for our associates
Basic Qualifications
At least 2 years experience working successfully in a project or process role
At least 2 years of experience in a Human Resource role (inside or outside of Capital One)
At least 1 year experience in role where reporting and data management was required
Proficiency in Google Slides, Docs, and Sheets (including basic Sheets functions)
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelors Degree, or military experience
Professional Human Resources Certification or Process Management Professional Certification
At least 3 years of experience in Human Resources
At least 3 years of experience in Project or Process Management
At least 3 years of experience in client-facing consulting experience
