PsychPros is a nationally recognized staffing and recruiting firm dedicated to the behavioral healthcare field. We are currently hiring a Problem Solving Case Manager to work full-time with clients experiencing homelessness in Irwindale, CA. This is a TEMPORARY ASSIGNMENT expected to last 1-2 months with the potential for converting to a permanent position for a strong candidate. The ideal candidate will be available to start immediately.

Requirements-
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a social services setting is required.
  • A bachelor’s degree in Social Work or related field is required.
  • Experience working with homeless or very low income individuals is preferred.
  • Possess a valid California driver's license and have access to properly registered vehicle.
  • Candidates must be vaccinated for Covid.

Benefits-
  • The pay is $21.63/hour
  • The schedule is Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm

Responsibilities-
  • Manage a caseload between 25-30 participants
  • Provide support and linkage to families experiencing homelessness and housing instability in order to assist them in identifying viable temporary or permanent housing resources within their own networks.
  • Engage with and assess families’ needs.
  • Provide time-limited and light touch case management support when needed.
  • Research options outside the homeless services system, acquire resources, and make successful referrals, including following up with participants to ensure that referrals were accessed.
  • Transport participants as needed or drive to meet them out in the field.
