Haymarket Center is seeking a Systems Analyst - EHR to join our team!

This position is responsible for the design, development and support of NextGen electronic health record (EHR). Responsible for programming on specific application subsets of the company's application portfolio, participating in all phases of the development and maintenance life cycle, typically assigned for a business unit, client program, or corporate department and utilizing various customer technology platforms. Interacts with the system end-users and troubleshoots problems to provide a high level of user satisfaction. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

Perform analysis and troubleshooting in support of various EHR technical processes. Maintains active relationships with user teams to determine business requirements and leads requirements gathering meetings;

Supports the EHR implementation process, including build, testing, training, and go live of the EHR system.

Identifying solutions to non-standard requests and problems. Solving application related problems. Analyzing technology solution options and providing feedback to appropriate parties.

Assists management in establishing reporting requirements and develop reports from the NextGen database. Facilitates group sessions as needed to gather information on requirements clarification, design sessions, code reviews and troubleshooting issues.

Works with Haymarket clinical staff and finance staff to evaluate current processes and implement technology solutions to reduce costs and improve staff efficiency and patient care. Develops and defines application scope and objectives.

Owns the change process and may coordinate with other teams as necessary. Support production release after hours as needed.

Responds to end user inquiries concerning NextGen operation and diagnoses software and operator problems.

Application support services for NextGen EMR. Supports the implementation and continued operation of NextGen EMR/EPM and related health care technologies. Troubleshooting service requests.

Maintains technical development environment. Monitor data integrity in the EHR, including reconciling incoming data with lab orders sent through LabCorp and correct errors, and open tickets.

Coordinates on-call support and ensures effective monitoring of the system.

Mentor others and may lead multiple or small medium sized projects.

Handle helpdesk tickets related to EHR and other IT related issues. ConnectWise experience is a plus but not required.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Work is primarily performed in person at the primary office location. Travel to other office locations within the City of Chicago and surrounding metro area may be required periodically.

Requirements: EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

Requires BA/BS degree in related field.
Two or more years related experience; multi-platform experience; Medium level experience with business and technical applications, or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Experience working with EHR/EMR, experience in EPIC, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks is acceptable. Minimum of 2 years NextGen related experience is preferred. Specific experience with EHR Template Editor and Document Builder is a plus.
Experience with Crystal Reports is a plus.
Knowledge of Electronic Health Records Systems, Health Care Specific Data Interface standards, and health information exchange technologies a big plus.
Incumbent should also have the ability to mentor others, lead multiple small projects and provide troubleshooting support.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $67,646.09 - $95,466.27 per year
