Job Description

The Service Specialty Manager (colloquially known as “Super Chief”) is a full-time, salaried position that expands upon your current administrative duties to include oversight and supervision of all existing client sites within your service specialty. Our current groupings include Surgery, Medicine, Procedural, Neuro, and Emergency Medicine. The Service Specialty Manager collaborates with executive leadership to develop and implement the organization's strategic vision, then carries those goals down to the individual sites with frequent group meetings (aka Chief Focus Groups).


Individuals applying for this position should be team-oriented and capable of training and developing staff while balancing client needs. A person in this role demonstrates strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills, with an eagerness to assist in the supervision of contracts, program evaluations, and other tasks as assigned alongside the Senior Director.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Willingness to learn administrative functions as well as clinical specialties
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Flexible and customer service oriented
  • Demonstrated capacity for leadership and administration/management
  • One year or more of scribe leadership experience preferred
  • Experience in training new scribes
  • High-level competency of Epic utilization
