As a Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) Engineer you will drive key HSE activities and performance metrics for Honeywell. You will accomplish this by establishing strong working relationships with the employees and work closely with the HSE team and Site Leadership. This position reports directly to the site HSE Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer the HSE Management System program requirements
• Implement industrial hygiene programs such as employee exposure monitoring
• Provide technical assistance regarding health, safety, environmental compliance requirements
• Develop and administer HSE training and support the overall HSE training program for the site
• Strong Management Operating System (MOS) administration
• Deploys safety initiatives to reduce risk
• Measure key HSE indicators and implements plans to address gaps
• Drives standard work
• Ensures HSE compliance standards are met

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or have asylum or refugee status in the U.S.

YOU MUST HAVE

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, safety, environmental science, facilities
• 1+ years of experience in HSE field
• Must be US citizen due to contractual requirements

WE VALUE

• Strong oral and written communication skills
  Use innovative thinking to create continuous improvement
• Experience managing emergency response teams
• Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) is a plus
• Working knowledge of OSHA, NFPA, EPA and Arizona regulations
• Strong computer and Microsoft office skills - Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint primarily
• Master’s degree is a plus
