Summary of Primary Function/General Purpose of Position

The Certified Surgical Tech facilitates the operative or other invasive procedure by preparing and providing the required sterile instruments, supplies and equipment. Maintains the sterile field and anticipates and responds to the needs of the surgical team. Working collaboratively and promoting teamwork is key to success in this Certified Surgical Tech position. A CST certification is required, or LPN license and experience will be accepted for this role.
