Job Description

Duties

  • Provide analytical support for assignments, or ongoing projects, assists senior staff in collecting and consolidating data to prepare reports, and review and analyze dashboard/program activities.
  • Collaborate with senior level team members, subject matters experts or stakeholders to address issues and/or concerns and will follow up to ensure needs are met.
  • Participate in the selection of meaningful qualitative and quantitative criteria for performance measurement evaluation.
  • Apply analytical techniques to gather, present,and evaluate information concerning administrative programs to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the operation of the assigned Office.
  • Evaluate and recommend ways to improve the program based upon the review and analysis of program data.

To be eligible, an applicant must have received a baccalaureate or graduate degree (i.e. master's, Ph.D., or J.D) within the past two years or will be earning such degree no later than 30 days after the closing date of this announcement. Or in the case of an individual who has completed a period of not less than four years of intervening obligated service in a uniformed service, not later than two years after the date on which the individual was released or discharged from that uniformed service.

Qualifications:

For the GS-7: You must have at least one year of specialized experience, equivalent to the GS-05 level in the Federal service, such as retrieving and gathering data; compiling data findings into reports; communicating with senior level team members, subject matter experts or stakeholders to address issues and/ or concerns; and assisting with review and/ or presentation of document/reports on a variety of programs.

OR One full year of graduate level education directly related to the position.

OR Superior Academic Achievement: To qualify based on superior academic achievement, you must have completed the requirements for a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution AND must meet certain GPA requirements or class standing or membership in a National Scholastic Honor Society.

OR Equivalent combinations of education and experience are qualifying for this grade level.
