Job Description

The Commercial Bank delivers extensive industry knowledge, local expertise and seamless global capabilities to clients -including corporations, municipalities, financial institutions, real estate investors and owners, and not-for-profit organizations - with annual revenue generally ranging from $20 million to $2 billion. We offer a comprehensive set of financial products and services including credit, asset-based lending, real estate finance and treasury services. We also provide clients with access to the full suite of investment banking and asset management services.

As the Commercial Bank Planning and Analysis Senior Associate, you will be responsible for executive management reporting focusing on financial and business performance for the Commercial Banking line of business. You will report to the Planning and Analysis Vice President in Commercial Bank Finance & Business Management and will serve as a key partner to Plannings & Analysis senior management.

Job Responsibilities
  • Prepare management reporting packages for the Commercial Banking line of business
    • Internal reporting including but not limited to monthly and/or quarterly business reviews, operating committee meetings, monthly flash meetings, annual budget presentations, and ad-hoc analysis
    • External reporting responsibility for quarterly earnings, annual investor day, annual report, and Chief Executive Officer shareholder letter
  • Ensure presentation materials are delivered accurately, in timely fashion, with clear and concise management commentary on key business practices and/or variances
  • Maintain strong working relationships across the broader Commercial Banking finance organization in preparation of ongoing deliverables

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, and 2+ years Finance and/or Strategy experience
  • Demonstrated ability to create C suite level presentations, experienced user of Powerpoint and/or Pitchpro
  • Strong familiarity with Microsoft Office products, including intermediate to advanced Excel knowledge
  • Self-motivated individual with ability to manage tight deadlines and ever-changing priorities
  • Ability to interact with, build relationships with and influence cross-functional partners at all levels of management
  • Strong attention to detail, creativity, and thinking outside of the box
  • Strong data and financial analytical skills, experience with financial reporting tool sets (Essbase, SAP)
