We are seeking a full-time bartender for a fast paced full bar and craft beer brewery. This will be a night/weekend position. One-year prior experience in this type of setting is preferred.
Responsibilities:
Greet guests as they enter the establishment.
Take beverage orders from guests.
Ensure timely delivery and presentation of food and beverages to guests.
Suggest additional menu items to compliment a guest’s meal.
Total guest check in a timely and accurate manner.
Ability to serve alcoholic beverages responsibility.
Ability to work effectively with all personality types.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
Maintain safety and cleanliness of the workspace.
Assist and work in the kitchen when needed.
Serve guests in friendly manner and encourage repeat patronage.
Restock drink station areas and condiments on tables throughout your shift and at the end of the night.
Perform all other duties as required.
Requirements:
High school graduate or equivalent.
Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations correctly.
Ability to work weekends, nights, holidays and day shifts.
Ability to perform light physical tasks, exerting up to 25 lbs. of force on a frequent basis and up to 75 lbs. on an occasional basis.
Ability to perform such activities as grasping, lifting, reaching, crouching, walking, sitting and carrying.
Basic computer knowledge.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Preferences:
One-year bartending and/or craft brewery experience.
