IT Operations Manager
Job Description
Operational control of the facility along with the responsibility to manage all aspects of customer requirements including but not limited to: productivity, customer service inventory accuracy, and development of SOP. This position is accountable to provide leadership, development of associates, and metrics along with implementing lean management, Six Sigma and 5S processes and procedures to improve efficiencies.
- Ensure Customer contract requirements are understood and utilized to meet business expectations.
- Be proactive and creative specific to improving & optimizing changes that enhance the Customer value proposition.
- Recognize/Develop opportunities for growth.
- Demonstrate consistent awareness of the business profile as it changes and understand respective ramifications.
- Productivity and Space utilization (efficient product placement, etc.) Accuracy.
- Proper utilization of systems.
- Ensure processes are documented in SOP's (Standard Operating Procedures).
- Ensure company policies are communicated, administered and enforced.
- Asset control responsibilities to ensure the Associates have required tools to achieve success against their goals.
- Leadership, design & execution of action plans, projects and best practice sharing / implementation.
- Trend & Impact analysis that leads to execution of improvement action plans regarding service levels to ensure that performance metrics to meet Customer and Company requirements (Lean Management, Six Sigma and 5S processes).
- Take an active role in site workload planning and volume forecasting (i.e. staffing, equipment, space).
- Lean Management, Six Sigma and 5S experience with certification.
- High level of computer skills, to include, but not limited to Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Participate in examining internal IT controls, evaluate the design and operational effectiveness, determine exposure to risk, and develop remediation strategies.
- Participate in the change management process.
- Conduct efficient and effective IT audit procedures.
- Communicate complex technical issues in simplified terms to the relevant staff.
- Perform regular audit testing and provide recommendations.
- Review, evaluate, and test application controls.
- Clear understanding of IT audit methodologies.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail with an analytical mind and outstanding problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Lean Management, Six Sigma and 5S experience with certification.
- Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- High level of computer skills, to include, but not limited to Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Technical acumen / Experience working on infrastructure or security projects.
- Excellent communication & relationship building skills
- Knowledge of ServiceNow, Operations Center background, Google Suite, and O365
