Connected Health Care, a premier recruitment and staffing firm, is seeking a highly qualified Sterile Processing Manager for our client near Salem, New Jersey. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team dedicated to providing the highest quality of care to patients.
Responsibilities:
Manage the daily operations of the sterile processing department, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards
Develop and implement policies and procedures related to the sterilization of medical equipment and supplies
Oversee the training and development of sterile processing staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their job duties effectively
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the safe and timely delivery of sterile equipment and supplies
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, nursing, or a related field preferred
Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) certification required
Minimum of 5 years of experience in sterile processing, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role
Knowledge of current industry standards and regulations, including AAMI and FDA guidelines
