Senior Social Media Manager

The Senior Social Media Manager will sit on the Brand & Comms team and build and execute against a social strategy for Keeps and Nurx. This role will partner closely with Brand, Communications, and Marketing to support business goals and overall brand awareness through thoughtful content plans optimized for a diverse set of social channels. You'll be responsible for reacting to culture, staying on top of social trends, industry news and other relevant happenings to create timely and engaging content anchored in current conversation.

The right candidate is strategic, creative, and analytical. You're energized by ideas but can develop a hypothesis-led testing roadmap designed to increase KPIs like engagement and shares. You're also organized; you can keep up a calendar, ruthlessly prioritize, hit deadlines, and communicate well cross-functionally while working independently.

What you get to do every day

  • Social Strategy + Content
    • Build insights-led social strategies for Keeps and Nurx, and translate that strategy into a creative and engaging content plan.
    • Partner with Brand, Communications, and Marketing to align the social plan with broader marketing activity, identifying ways to use social for other areas of marketing where possible (e.g. PR activations).
    • Own the social media plan for Keeps and Nurx from strategy and content ideation all the way through to execution, measurement, and reporting.
    • Develop and own a regular briefing process with Creative to develop social assets.
    • Collaborate closely with legal for content approvals where needed in a highly-regulated industry.
    • Stay on top of social trends and news headlines to take advantage of buzzworthy moments, keeping Keeps and Nurx relevant and top-of-mind.
  • Community Management
    • Lead a team of community managers and develop community building strategies to encourage audience engagement and provide online support for patients.
  • Scheduling
    • Plan and manage the social calendar for Keeps and Nurx
  • Reporting
    • Derive creative insights from performance data and partner with Creative to drive the content testing strategy.
    • Build critical metric reports to identify trends, efficiencies and opportunities to improve channel performance.

What you bring to the role

  • 6+ years of related social media experience (ideally across Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter, TikTok, and YouTube.
  • Strong knowledge of social media platforms like Sprout Social, Later, and analytics tools
  • Ability to build social media strategies and brainstorm innovative content ideas to reach each brand's audience.
  • A passion for social trends and healthcare to help Keeps and Nurx stay engaged in the cultural conversation.
  • Experience partnering with creative teams and writing creative briefs
  • Proven track record of growing social audiences and engagement
  • Highly organized with strong project management skills
  • Proven experience fostering growth and learning on a mid sized team of community managers
