What You’ll Do
- Drive sales process for new multifamily project developments from start to finish, setting outreach strategy, leading client calls and site walks, managing internal proposal development and negotiating site control agreements. Collaborate across internal Origination, Engineering and Finance teams to steer new projects through early-stage development approvals.
- Originate robust California multifamily book of business, identifying target portfolios, attendingindustry trade shows and conferences, and securing enterprise referral partner agreements.
- Draft and deliver client-facing business development collateral, including proposals, Companypresentations, and product information, aligning with Marketing teams to drive success withproject- and client-specific messaging.
- Report directly to the Director of Sales, developing customized records within CRM platforms(e.g. Salesforce) on targets progress. Regularly liaise with Company Senior Management while managing and tracking day-to-day client relationships pre-site control.
Required Skills and Experience
- Minimum of 5 - 7 years professional experience in relevant CRE field, such as Brokerage, Construction Management, Asset or Property Management, Lending / Investing or EnterpriseB2B Sales / Business Development
- Deep and established network of California multifamily connections, with expertise directlypitching to senior management counterparties, contract negotiation and project management
- General understanding of real estate business structures, specifically including commercial and residential leasing models
- Knowledge of renewable energy industry preferred but not required
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to independently manage time-sensitive projects with competing deadlines, verticals and deliverables
