Location: Huntsville, AL (Hybrid)

DESCRIPTION:

Canvas, Inc. is seeking an Analyst II! In this role you will support the DEVCOM Aviation and Missile Center (AvMC) Systems Readiness Directorate (SRD) Business Management Division. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

• Research, analyze, and update budget data and manpower/personnel data to assess impacts to program.
• Perform duties consisting of collecting financial data and providing analysis and recommendations to management in regard to execution.
• In support of SRD, provide analysis, planning, and execution support utilizing Government financial systems to include AvMC Integrated Center Information Systems (AICIS), General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS), Automated Time Attendance and Production System (ATAAPS) and Defense Travel System (DTS).
• Data collection, analysis, and document data to support special projects in support of Army Airworthiness and Material Suitability program from a program support perspective using data from GFEBS BI reports.
• Support to planning and organizing meetings with government and industry personnel; preparation of presentation slides and material, agendas, briefing materials, handouts and follow-up for action items.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance
• Knowledgeable in organizational management, business processes in human resources, acquisition, finance, cost estimating, or quality control and assurance.
• Able to analyze complex business situations, identify the appropriate use of analytical tools, and demonstrate effective due diligence with the analytical processes.
• Skilled at writing, problem solving, statistical methods and analysis.
• Skilled computer users with experience in word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software to analyze and present their ideas.
• Candidate may qualify for position by meeting any of the following educational requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree and 3 years of experience
  • Associates degree and 5 years of experience
  • High School diploma and 7 years of experience

DESIRED EXPERIENCE:

• 3 years experience with the Army's Defense Travel System (DTS) and Time and Attendance (ATAAPS) preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) preferred.
