Job Description

We are seeking a Retail Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, a strong knowledge of board, card and role playing gaming products (NB, we do not carry video games), and the ability multitask in providing outstanding customer experiences while. The successful candidate will be responsible for greeting customers, providing product information, and helping customers make informed purchasing decisions. In addition, the Retail Sales Associate will be responsible for maintaining store displays and stocking shelves, cleaning and teaching and running games.

Staff initially start at one or two 4-hour shifts weekly and once fully onboarded hours are unlikely to exceed 12-15 per week until the holiday season. Weekend availability a must.

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and provide excellent customer service.
• Assist customers in finding the right games.
• Provide gaming product information and advice to customers.
• Teach and run game events and tournaments.
• Operate Square POS and complete sales transactions.
• Maintain a neat and organized store environment.
• Lift boxes up to 30 lbs.
• Attend a once a month all staff meeting, typcially first Sunday evening of the month.
• Keep up with current trends and upcoming releases in the gaming industry.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
