Repair Engineer

Endress + Hauser Conducta is looking for an enthusiastic Repair Engineer to join our growing Anaheim Team. As a Repair Engineer you will be conducting complex mechanical and electrical analyses related to the diagnosis and repair of returned goods and products.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Evaluate returned equipment to determine its suitability for its field applications, causes of failure, and potential problems in product design.
  • Check product specifications to verify operating and performance standards.
  • Diagnose, repair, and modify measurement equipment and systems.
  • Analyze and replace electronic circuit board modules and components.
  • Test, repair, and calibrate all optical equipment using electronic measuring devices.
  • Work with prototype equipment and newer product lines in evaluating reliability issues and problems.
  • Administer factory calibration certificates.
  • Performs related functions as needed

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma and/or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in engineering and/or related technical field preferred
  • Four years of field support, product testing, and field repair experience in a related field is required, including work with RMA records.
  • Prior training involving related company product inspection and repairs is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of electro-mechanical and electro-optical product design characteristics and failure analysis methods.
  • Knowledge of product line specifications and quality testing procedures.
  • Knowledge of machine shop procedures, calibration methods, and safety practices.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes for various company product lines.
  • Read schematic diagrams.
  • Use of soldering equipment.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.

The annual U.S Base salary range for this full-time position is $70,000.00 to $98,000.00. The base pay that is offered for this position will vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and internal equity.
