The Revenue Analyst is responsible for supporting Global Revenue Accounting function in day-to-day operations, including working cross functionally with sales operations teams to review contracts to adhere to US GAAP and company’s policies, owning revenue month-end close activities, contributing to SAP RAR post-implementation activities, and ensuring internal and external audit compliance. We are seeking an articulate and driven professional who is looking to grow long-term with an exciting company and be a key contributor to our growing team.

This position is part of the Global Revenue Accounting department and will be fully remote. Our Client's vision is to be the leading provider of seamlessly connected diagnostic solutions.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
  • Review customer contracts and purchase orders to identify any non-standard terms and conditions that impact revenue recognition
  • Review reagent rental agreements in SFDC to ensure that they have been properly transacted by Contract Compliance team, and that all required attributes have been flagged before interface into Revenue Accounting & Reporting (“RAR”) add-on module to SAP
  • Support post-implementation and maintenance of RAR module including various data entry, validations, and reconciliations during system Hypercare
  • Own month-end and quarter-end revenue close activities including preparation of journal entries and reconciliations
  • Pull order-to-cash (“OTC”) documents from SAP and prepare various analyses required by DHR / EY internal/external audits
  • Prepare SSP (“standalone selling price”) analyses for Cepheid revenue streams
The essential requirements of the job include:
  • 1-2 years of accounting experience with a strong knowledge of ASC 606 and ASC 842. BA or BS degree in finance/economics/accounting
  • Comfortable in reviewing contracts or other documents and working with cross-functional teams
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills, both oral and written with the ability to prepare and support effective presentations of financial results and/or analytical findings
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
  • Ability to communicate highly technical perspectives to individuals with varying degrees of experience in the subject matter ranging from sales personnel and certain other customer-facing individuals, other finance personnel, and management-level individuals
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
  • Medical diagnostic industry
  • SAP RAR
  • Advanced Excel, BI or Power BI
