Better Connections is now recruiting for a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner for a remote position in our Psychiatric practice. Better Connections is a tele psychiatry practice looking for another provider to collaborate with the care of our patients. An ideal candidate is licensed in Florida, (Georgia and Alabama highly encouraged) has an excellent knowledge of pharmacology, a desire for continued educational opportunities and confidence in creating evidence-based treatment plans through a scientific and collaborative approach. Responsibilities: Provide psychiatric diagnostic assessments, evaluate need for medications, and prescribe as indicated. Collaborate with others involved in treatment planning
- Experienced prescribers and newer prescribers are welcome to apply to this position.
- Very flexible schedule, currently needing 12-16 hours a month. Option for more hours depending on provider preference.
- Compensation: 1099 position (hourly).
- 60 minute initial appointments and 30 minute follow up appointments.
- Clinic assistant available to help provider with billing, scheduling, etc.
