Job Description:

The Medical Assistant, a member of the nursing team, assists the physician and other nursing personnel in the delivery of primary health care and patient care management. The medical assistant reports directly to the practice manager, RN supervisor, or Director.

Education:

• Completion of Medical Assistant Program - Accredited - Required

• High School Graduate or Equivalent - Preferred

Experience:

• 3 years Healthcare - Medical Assistant - Required

• Healthcare - Electronic Health Records - Required

• Medical Office - Required

• 3 years Healthcare - Healthcare Administration - Preferred

Certifications/Licensures:

• BLS Basic Life Support - American Heart Association - Required

Skills:

• Precise and detailed communication, verbal and effective documentation.

• Knowledge of organizational policies, procedures, systems and objectives.

Work Shift:

Pay Range:

$30.38 - $41.02 Hourly
