We are hiring a Payroll Administrator!

We are a well-established and solid large retail organization with over 20 locations in the Phoenix Metropolitan area with years of business operation. Each location is independently operated; our location employs 140+ employees. About the Role & What You’ll Do:

Accurately and timely process three cycles a month, two semi-monthly and one monthly, consisting of hourly, piece work, commission and salaried employees, with an occasional on demand paycheck as needed

Process any employee changes on a regular basis such as pay changes, demographic changes, taxes, benefits and terminations within the appropriate deadlines.

Record all 401k, health benefits and company employee accounts receivables accurately to ensure collection via payroll

Ensure accurate payroll records are maintained per requirements

Reconcile taxes monthly, quarterly and annually for accurate reporting via a 3rdparty

Manage and ensure all workers compensation claims are documented and followed, to include regulatory OSHA compliance.

Process applicant pre-screen company requirements

Effectively onboard all new hires with effective communication and representation

Effectively ensure all compliance is adhered to, applicable to company policy, local and federal related items.

Collaborate with people to represent our company, professionally.

Serve as a liaison between Payroll and Accounting

Perform payroll to accounting GL reconciliations

What We Look For:

5+ years of payroll experience with a large firm (100+ employees)

Moderate to advanced Microsoft Excel experience

Knowledge of ADP Payroll software

Advance knowledge of payroll best practices and basic employment laws

Ability to thrive in a very fast-paced environment to meet strict deadlines

Very high attention to detail

Ability to work a shift outside of M-F, to meet a payday deadline

Nice to have:

Bachelor’s degree in HR, Finance, Business, or related field commensurate retail experience
