Job Description
Independent Environmental Services Company has an immediate opening for a General Manager at their Materials Recycling Facility located in the Los Angeles, CA Metropolitan Area.
Essential job functions include:
- Managing day to day operations
- Achieving performance standards and productivity metrics, full P&L responsibility
- Collaborating with municipal leadership, involvement in sales and marketing
- Managing logistics
- Budget preparation, capital planning and execution
- Ensuring compliance with regulations and safety procedures
- Hiring and developing personnel
- Providing effective leadership to foster a teamwork-based work environment.
Required qualifications include:
- Bachelor's degree
- 10-15 years of management experience
- Knowledge of regulations
- Leadership and organizational skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to interface with the general public, regulatory agencies, and political contacts
