Pay starts at $18.00 - $20.00/hour, based on shift preference, with the opportunity to earn more based on experience.

Position Summary:

  • In conjunction with the Executive Director, supports all policies, programs and philosophies of Country Meadows. Responsible for the continuous operation of the facility in absence of Administration (Executive Director, Director of Nursing, and Assistant Director of Nursing).
  • Promotes and supports the efforts of the management to establish and maintain a positive, respectful, and supportive environment for all residents, co-workers, families, outside agencies, and facility guests.
  • Engage with residents, getting to know them personally while administering medications and treatments, observing their day-to-day behavior and outlook and ensuring their comfort and overall positive well-being.
  • Provide social and emotional support, while encouraging residents’ independence.
  • Manage the medication cart for complete, up-to-date supplies and quality control.

Requirements:

  • Prior supervisory experience in a healthcare environment.
  • Prefer minimum of one year experience in assisted living, personal care or other health care.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • CPR certified and first aid trained or willing to obtain.
  • Respect for patient rights and confidentiality.
  • Up-to-date medication certification requirements preferred.
  • Highly organized skills.
  • Ability to perform the physical tasks required in this type of role.
  • Have the ability to understand and speak English at a level which allows the safe, efficient performance of the job.
