Job Description
Medical Biller (MUST HAVE HOSPICE AND HOME HEALTH EXPERIENCE).
We are a Home Health & Hospice company looking for a Medical Billing Specialist to support the billing supervisor.
Duties Include:
- Keying RAPS.
- Cancellations and EOE's.
- Follow Up with NGS and various Medi-Cal Managed Care Plans.
- Preparing ADRs as needed TAR entry.
- Posting Payments, as well as other duties as assigned (working closely with the intake department on pre-authorizations, and assisting with the setup and review of patient profiles).
Requirements:
- Must have Direct Data Entry (DDE) experience in billing. If you do not have this experience please DO NOT APPLY.
- Must be detail-oriented, professional, resourceful, skilled in time management, and have excellent prioritizing skills.
- Must be able to multitask.
- Strong Analytic and problem-solving skills.
- High level of initiative and the ability to make sound decisions independently about the Job.
Pay is dependent upon experience.
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
- 1-year related work experience is required, experience specific to Home Healthcare is preferred.
