This position pays $75,000 - $90,000 per year. Hours are 8am to 5pm Monday - Friday, some weekend work may be required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Hands on Designing Ability.
Communicate with customers regarding technical issues and specifications.
Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics and customer specifications.
Assist in developing detailed drawings for products using Compress, RCS, MatchCad, and Excel.
Design pressure vessels and heat exchangers to meet ASME Sections VIII-1, IX, TEMA, API 660, and other company/customer requirements while applying knowledge of engineering principles.
Code calculations per ASME, TEMA and company/customer specifications and requirements.
Specify system components of direct modification of pressure vessels and heat exchangers to ensure conformance with engineering design and performance specifications.
Assist sales team with preliminary design and bill of material in the estimating process.
Verification of heat exchanger performance.
Check drawings for accuracy.
Requirements/Qualifications:
Verbal and written communication skills.
Professional Engineer license preferred.
Knowledge of ASME Sections VIII-1, II, IX, TEMA, and API 660.
Knowledge of the practical application of engineering (includes applying principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment to the design and production of pressure vessels and heat exchangers).
Knowledge of ASME material specifications, production processes, quality control, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
Critical thinking and complex problem solving skills.
Understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel, and other heat exchanger and pressure vessel design software.
Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering
Minimum four years experience working on pressure vessels and heat exchangers per ASME and TEMA preferred.
Experience using AutoCAD preferred
P.E - Professional Engineer license preferred

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
