Responsibilities include:
Initial client intakes
Information and document gathering from clients
Scheduling appointments, depositions, hearings
Drafting basic letters and Retainer Agreements
Propounding and responding to discovery
Preparing and filing documents with state and federal court
Required Work Experience:
Minimum 1 year of experience in employment law (preferred)
Minimum 1 year of experience with California Civil Procedure, Federal Procedure and Local Court Rules (preferred)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, and Excel
Proficiency with Abacus Law (preferred) or other case management software
