What you’ll be working on
Our client is seeking a Leadership Communications Lead to work with our Experience Design (XD) team leadership on a variety of initiatives. You will develop the materials and delivery methods for communicating the XD vision, ideas and objectives at the direction of the Head of XD. This includes creating content, reinforcing strategic initiatives, communicating objectives within the XD Team, and across Digital. You’ll need to:
- Digest strategic vision, direction, and requirements quickly and use them to guide your work of developing content for presentations, email communications and more
- Navigate competing demands and priorities while executing under the direction of the Head of XD
- Communicate latest strategic vision, priorities, OKRs or principles to the larger XD organization while collecting feedback
- Help drive alignment and adoption of XD vision while monitoring progress and identifying opportunities to increase effectiveness
- Drive all content delivery logistics, including maintaining team-related internal communications and documentation, as well as logistics for follow-up and adoption
- Collaborate and partner with XD leaders and multi-disciplinary XD roles to execute on key deliverables, short-term special projects and initiatives that ensure consistency across XD
- Independently problem solve as a practiced decision-maker in working with XD leaders
- Manage and implement XD-wide routines to drive cohesion and culture
- Develop/Collate XD materials for executive leadership in Digital
- Engage effectively with people across XD and Digital, cultivating partnerships with a diverse set of stakeholders including operations and other partners
You’re a person who has (required skills)
- 5+ years of experience in Leadership Communications, including digital business management, operations manager or coordinator, design ops/content management, chief of staff/office of c-levels/advisory board engagement, marketing comms
- Exposure / experience with User Experience, Product Design, Communication Design, or Design Operations
- Able to comfortably dive into Experience Design, understand business needs, and facilitate executive decisions based on changing priorities
- A record of working in a cross-functional role while supporting leadership communications
- Hands-on experience in organizational change, communications & strategy execution
- Experience creating, writing and shaping many different kinds of content and communications including presentations, emails, newsletters, executive summaries, roll out plans, feedback collection, etc.
- Excellent communicator in written, visual and verbal form; ability to work well with different levels of executives and leaders in the organization, with demonstrated ability to facilitate and influence
- Ability to track, prioritize, and drive multiple concurrent projects to success
- Highest level of integrity and management of confidential information
- Proficient in PowerPoint and Keynote with ability to learn internal tools/systems
- A portfolio of work samples that you’re proud to share. If relevant, any materials (cover letter, presentation etc.) that show how current skills and experience can inform or translate into this role.

- Proofreading or editing experience
- A deep understanding of human-centered design and rapid ideation processes (e.g., Agile, Lean UX)
- Ability to generate graphic assets for visual content
- Financial services experience
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, InVision and design systems
