The Role
We are looking for a passionate certified Data Analytics Lead.

A successful candidate will turn data into information, information into insight and insight into business decisions. A data analytics lead will drive developing analysis and reporting capabilities. They will also monitor performance and design quality control plans to identify and implement improvements. They should be able to work with management to prioritize business and information needs, while being able to analyze and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets. They should be a self-motivated investigator who enjoys delving deep into data and finding potential business opportunities.

What You’ll do
Assisting in definition of project-related objectives, key results, and KPIs for the Data Analytics team, including strategy and analytics plans
Analyzing data to generate descriptive summary statistics using SQL and/or Python
Developing reports and dashboards to help executives understand and evaluate key performance metrics
Clearly and effectively communicating results of analysis to technical and non-technical stakeholders with a focus on business value and actionable results
Thinking critically and proposing/defining data analytics projects to support business objectives
Overseeing, coaching and managing less experienced Data Analysts, to prioritize tasks and ensure projects are completed on-time and with high quality results
The ideal candidate is/has:
2+ years experience with SQL, also Python (preferred)
Experience with Google Cloud Platform (preferred)
Highly motivated with an entrepreneurial spirit; Can work independently, while also building strong internal relationships with leadership teams across the organization
A self-starter who operates well in a fast-paced environment, and who can respond swiftly to edits and feedback
Ability to manage self and teams, to develop productive, healthy working relationships
Professional and articulate communication (oral and written) skills
Nice to Have(s)
Experience working in personal/consumer insurance
Experience with DBT and Jinja
Intermediate knowledge and understanding of Google Data Studio
