Location: Remote Work From Home, travel is required to attend special events, meetings and conferences.
The Event Planner Sr is responsible for planning and executing Sales Division meetings, conferences, and special events for the sales force and for the broker distribution channel.
How will you make an impact:
Designs and produces conference/event collateral to communicate meeting details and to promote incentive trips.
Develops online registration system information with outside vendor or internally, depending on the complexity of the registration process.
Identifies local sponsorships and events that align with business development goals and executes those events and sponsorships.
Creates the tracking process for reporting taxable income from the sales incentive trips for internal associates and external brokers.
Assists in the preparation of presentations when requested.
Contracts with vendors for event arrangements such as hotels, transportation, activities, etc.
Surveys event participants to solicit feedback to use in enhancing future events.
Minimum Requirements:
Requires a BA/BS degree and a minimum of 5 years of related experience ; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:
Certified Meeting Professional Designation preferred.
