The Mendix X Program Engagement and Success Manager helps Siemens core automation business units turn Low Code into their own competitive advantage. The “X” in Mendix X is our commitment to Siemens Xcelerator. This role will help Product Segments leverage Mendix technologies for their core offering, either developing with low code, embedding low code, or building completely new products with low code. The Engagement and Success Manager will have a unique mix of exciting challenges: The opportunity to shape the role of Low Code as part of Siemens Xcelerator (long-term and strategic) and, at the same time, to drive real commercial success for our Siemens partners in the near term.
Responsibilities:
Build a pipeline of partnering opportunities across the Digital Industries (DI) Business Units, with a strong focus on DI MC, DI PA, and DI FA
Apply a keen understanding of industry customer needs and demonstrate how Low Code can help R&D and product mgmt serve those needs faster and better
Analyze Siemens Xcelerator, Corporate initiatives, and Business Unit innovation roadmaps (e.g., SaaS transformation, packaged business capabilities, ecosystem innovations) and translate those into specific collaboration opportunities. Bring back experience and lessons learned ‘from the field’ to challenge and shape how Siemens positions Low Code as part of Xcelerator
Own a portfolio of partnerships end-to-end, from identification, onboarding, enablement and all the way to successful commercialization
Help drive selected strategic business development initiatives to define and shape future growth fields for Low Code in OT and factory automation
Qualifications:
Strong manufacturing domain know-how (OT, shopfloor automation) and how software adds value in those domains
Relevant work experience in Siemens Sales or Verticals, Customer Services, Product Management or Business Development for Siemens automation businesses
Strong ability and appetite to evangelize radical and innovative ideas if needed. Keen listener and trusted advisor mentality to help business executives but also technical audiences arrive at the right conclusions
Relentless urge to make Siemens partners successful
Ability to dive deeply on the one hand (e.g., hack in Mendix Low Code), and to approach things from a high-level strategic viewpoint on the other hand
Outstanding communication and presentation skills in English, additional languages are a plus (e.g., German, Chinese, Italian…)
Ability to travel as needed (25% globally)
