Our company offers uniquely challenging opportunities for Apprentice Electricians who are willing to work hard, be self-motivated, and get the job done. The Apprentice Electricians will be working in a team environment with experienced electricians to complete tiring work that requires physical labor. The right candidate will have a strong work ethic and will be interested in learning new skills while on the job.

Helper electricians perform the duties, tasks, and responsibilities:

• Aiding senior electricians with basic electrical systems installation, repair, and maintenance
• Assisting with the execution of plans of electrical wiring for well-functioning lighting, intercom, and a variety of other electrical systems
• Preventing the breakdown of systems by routinely inspecting and replacing old wiring and insulated cables and cleaning circuits
• Helping with electrical installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance, and reading and interpreting technical drawings and specs, as well as the knowledge to carry out required hookups and connections
• Ensuring that all materials are on-site and available during the project and ensuring that electrical parts and materials are organized and transported to the supervising electrician as needed
• Handling the planning of layout and installation of wiring and fixtures under the supervision of the senior electrician
• Prepare and clean workspace for the senior electrician prior to the beginning of a project, and removing unused materials, dust, and dirt as required
• Logging activities and testing results. Support a master electrician on various electrical jobs
• Examine units for loose connections
• Drill holes for electrical wiring
• Measure and cut wires
• Help with conduit work

Electrician Helper Requirements and Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED certificate
• Experience with reading blueprints or electrical schematics
• Construction or electrical experience a plus
• Skills with basic hand and power tools
• Physical stamina
• Reliable transportation
• Willingness to learn

Salary is DOE

Hiring Part Time, Full Time and Temporary
