We provide tickets to many events and shows across the nation including music, sports and theatrical performances. We are looking for a Director of Operations to provide sound operational leadership in all aspects of our business, helping to grow our current (and future) functional groups. Strategic thinking, strong business acumen and identifying the most simple and impactful solutions to problems are essential in this role. We expect you to be well-versed in creating operational efficiency and continuous process improvement as well familiar with a variety of business concepts. Being an excellent communicator and public speaker will serve you well in this role.

This is a salaried, full-time position.


Responsibilities and Duties

The Director of Operations is responsible for all of the operational aspects of what we call the ‘ticket lifecycle’, needed capabilities to ensure the company's short and long-term needs. This role is responsible for identifying and implementing solutions that create incremental value and can scale up and down quickly in response to the dynamic opportunities that exist. We are looking for team members who will drive innovation and evolution within our business as we adapt to a highly competitive environment. They will identify and implement solutions to help REPS fulfill its Strategic Plan and vision. The Director of Operations will be expected to develop relationships with other departments to maximize the effectiveness of projects designed to improve overall performance.

To achieve this, the Direct of Operations has three major responsibilities:

  • Creating and executing an operations plan to support the short-term and long-term organizational vision

  • Build organizational capabilities in the areas of continuous process improvement and incrementalism

  • Leading a diverse team that delivers outstanding performance

The Director of Operations will perform the following duties in support of the responsibilities listed above:

  • Outline the goals for operations.

  • Creating timelines for the development and deployment of all operational services.

  • Inspect and optimize all system designs.

  • Create standards and practices for all staff members.

  • Drive thought leadership, innovation and creativity.

  • Acting as a mentor to team members.

  • Maintaining a consumer-focused outlook and aiding in the delivery of solutions.

  • Managing operations budgets and project time frames.

  • Staying on top of industry trends and developments.

  • Reporting and analysis of performance.

  • Control the annual operating and technology budgets for purchasing, inventory processing and fulfillment.

Education:

  • Certification in lean management processes

  • MBA or an Advanced Degree in a Business Related Field Desired

Experience:

  • History of lean management processes

  • Demonstrated analytical skills, including the ability to assemble information, extract pertinent facts, draw logical conclusions, and present recommendations

  • Handling simultaneous projects and adapt to a quickly changing environment

  • Making independent judgments and decisions while taking ownership of job responsibilities

  • Working within a team environment

  • Strong oral and written communications skills

  • Track record of operations success leading multiple international teams preferred

  • An understanding of the live ticketing industry is a plus.
