We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Landscape Estimator to join our team in Jacksonville, FL. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial landscape OR horizontal construction estimating, as well as experience with AutoCAD. As a Commercial Landscape Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and detailed estimates for commercial landscape projects, managing project budgets, and ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare accurate and detailed estimates for commercial landscape projects, including site analysis, takeoffs, and pricing.
  • Work with project managers and other stakeholders to develop project budgets and schedules.
  • Collaborate with designers, architects, and other professionals to ensure that project plans and specifications are accurate and complete.
  • Utilize AutoCAD and other software tools to develop detailed project plans and drawings.
  • Manage project budgets and schedules, and ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to project managers and other stakeholders.
  • Identify potential project risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Maintain accurate records of project costs, materials, and labor.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in commercial landscape, commercial construction estimating, or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of AutoCAD and other software tools used in landscape and construction estimating.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, project managers, and other stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify potential project risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong work ethic and a commitment to delivering high-quality work on time and within budget.
  • Familiarity with local building codes and regulations.
  • Ability to read and interpret project plans and specifications.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
