Job Description

Position Title: Business Development Manager

Job Duties/Description:
  • Target 20 calls per day, with the goal of setting productive sales appointments and reaching new prospects. Calls include web demos, prospecting/introductions, appointment setting and proposal presentations
  • Uncover new business opportunities
  • Develop sales strategies for your respective territories, and deploy effective sales techniques to uncover new business opportunities, while developing plans to close deals
  • Must have a consultive approach with new customers
  • Must be an excellent time manager and work well with all areas of the company, with demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects at one time
  • Develop a Territory Growth Plan
Requirements:
  • At least 2-3 years of sales experience
  • Previous experience prospecting new business and account development
  • Excellent at listening, asking questions, and then, communicating options, solutions, and value propositions tailored to each client
  • Willingness to attend trade shows
  • Must maximize new sales opportunities generated through sales calls & customer touch points, trade shows, and regular / planned prospective customer visits
Additional Info:
  • Pay range: $50,000-$75,000 annually + Uncapped Commission (BDM's have reached 125k + in their 1st year)
  • Schedule: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm M/F
  • Location: Brooklyn Park, MN- 100% In-office
  • Type: Direct Hire
