JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for data analytics trends/analysis as well as operational support using analytics for major home appliance accounts. Works independently and considered a seasoned and experienced professional with adequate understanding of own job area. Utilizes metrics to understand issue root causes, drive continuous KPI improvement, and ensures data quality. This role will work closely with internal teams such as sales, logistics, IT, supply chain and finance as well as external vendors.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform statistical, data mining, and analysis on complex business problems

  • Build reporting capabilities for detailed analysis

  • Analyze historical operations data to predict future outcomes, working at times with large and different data sets.

  • Identify areas for improvement, incorporating best-in-class and cutting-edge techniques, and designing new approaches and methodologies

  • Create results presentations for senior management that provide key business insights.

  • Weekly reporting and monitoring to determine root causes and trends (providing feedback to relevant departments)

  • Coordinate with various departments to support and monitor KPI progress, i.e., Logistics, Sales, Service and Finance

  • Documentation of reports logic and processes for reports/data base

  • Miscellaneous Analysis assignments

  • Manage, plan, organize, assign, schedule and prioritize multiple work assignments and projects as directed to achieve department goals.

PERFORMANCE STANDARDS

  • May participate in startup of new program campaigns or expansion of client work.

  • May provide consultative support to assist client in meeting business goals.

  • May communicate daily and conduct Daily, Weekly, Monthly and Quarterly business review sessions with Clients.

  • May participate in business travel on a regular basis to conduct client operational reviews.

  • Participate in call monitoring/calibration sessions and IT planning meetings.

  • Conduct regular Client Satisfaction Surveys and evaluations (informal and formal).

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • 4-year college degree or commensurate experience in data analysis

  • Experience using Microsoft PC software including extensive use of Excel spreadsheets, Word, Access, and PowerPoint, Tableau experience

  • SAP (ERP), Analytical solution (data mining, BI, BW), web-based solution

  • Excellent analytical skills with problem solving abilities

  • Fluent in Korean a plus

  • Demonstrates very high competency level in communication skills using oral, listening and written modes for internal and external communications at all management and staff organizational levels for both persuasions and/or the communication of technical information.

DESIRED PROCESS SKILLS

  • Must be analytical and possess strong presentation and reporting skills

  • Strong following up skills for tasks and assignments to ensure successful completion

  • Speedy but accurate data analysis

  • Strong project management skills

  • Demonstrated ability to solve problems involving continuously changing situations, requiring constructive thinking and imaginative approaches.

  • Previous experience in the home appliance industry a plus.
