Responsibilities:

• Engage customers in friendly bar banter
• Engage guests with interesting stories about the restaurant and cocktail menu items
• Make recommendations based on guest preferences
• Ensure that food, drinks, and bills are delivered to guests in a timely manner
• Provide exceptional customer service and work well under pressure
• Work collaboratively and respectfully with other team members

Requirements:

• English speaker
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills
• Friendly and attentive personality
• Ability to gain strong knowledge of the cocktail menu and restaurant history (with training)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Prior restaurant/bartending experience
• Prior experience with Toast system is preferred but not required

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Washington, DC 20002: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Bartending: 1 year (Preferred)
