General responsibilities include the proper management of an established sales territory including selling, servicing, merchandising, administration and accounts receivable. This position is intended to train new personnel who will eventually have a sales territory.

This person will be joining the Artisan Beer Company, a Johnson Brothers division, where a passion for craft beer is not a requirement, but definitely a plus!
The Merchandiser is responsible for achieving sales objectives, territory management, selling current and new products, promotions, in-store tastings, and servicing accounts. This also includes merchandising activities such as: shelf placement, maintaining cold boxes, building displays and stocking inventories. Flexibility is the key to being a successful Sales Consultant in Training.
This position is responsible for stocking shelves, coolers and building displays. In addition, this position will follow up after the deliveries are made by our drivers and service shelves from the liquor department storage areas.
- Putting away deliveries within retail stores
- Filling cold boxes
- Building shelf displays
- Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED equivalent.
- Work experience in the liquor industry, such as: bartender, wait staff, liquor store experience, etc. a plus.
- Goal and results oriented.
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines and prioritize work.
- Professional written and oral communication skills a must.
- Have reliable transportation with valid insurance.
- Good driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pound cases, sometimes repeatedly.
- Must live in the vicinity of Saint Paul for best servicing accounts.
