Flight Controls. Provide formal instruction and assistance with the installation, troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of F-16 primary/secondary flight controls systems including instruments, Analog/Digital System Interface, fuel indicating, data recording and air data systems at the organizational level of maintenance. Inspects, analyzes and evaluates subsystems such as flaperon, rudder, stall warning, horizontal stabilizer, miscellaneous, speed brakes, leading edge flaps, and seat data recorder, air data, flight instruments, data acquisition and fuel indicating to determine operational status. Advice and assistance will be provided at the Intermediate level on those components not supported with automatic test equipment.
Modification of existing training courseware will be required.
Basic Qualifications:
The instructor shall possess at a minimum the equivalent of a USAF skill level of seven (7) with military experience clearing aircraft for flight equipment discrepancies and 4 years current experience in their respective disciplines on F-16s.
Desired Skills:
Must have strong communications and interpersonal skills and be able to read, write and speak English fluently. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is mandatory. All instructors shall be U.S. citizens. All personnel must have a secret clearance or the ability to obtain a secret clearance prior to employment. All necessary instructor, technical and skills certifications must be obtained prior to employment.
Experience working with foreign nationals and documented Instructor experience is highly desired and will be viewed as a positive element during employment consideration. F-16 Block 40 or higher experience preferred. Candidates with additional experience in any of the following areas are preferred; shop/flight line setup, debrief, field training detachment (FTD), technical order library maintenance, quality assurance, or modification teams. Experience in more than one of the aforementioned areas will be viewed as a positive element during employment consideration.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
