IMG – is hiring a full-time COTS Implementation and Support Administrator with Top Secret Clearance at it's West Mifflin, PA or Schenectady, NY location.

Responsibilities:

Provide implementation, maintenance, and support of Commercial of the Shelf (COTS) software packages. Responsible for the management and support of enterprise COTS applications to ensure their security and availability to users across the NNPP.

• Set up, configure, monitor, and maintain the servers hosting COTS applications.
• Planning and managing the product life-cycles of existing and new implementations, including application of periodic operating system and application patches.
• Thorough documentation of processes, procedures, configurations, and test plans.
• Collaboration with internal customers from various lines of business who are the functional owners of the COTS applications to assist with planning and implementing the integrations of their applications with other business processes and applications.
• Collection and understanding of business requirements needed for successful implementation, including data mapping, data migration, and report development.
• Collaboration with other IT professionals from specific areas of expertise including networking, physical and virtual server environments, database administration, and overall system architecture, as needed, in support of the COTS applications.

Clearance Required:

DOD Top Secret or DOE Q required prior to consideration

Education/Experience:

Must meet one of the following combinations of education and years of experience

• BS degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Programming, Information Science, Management Information Systems or related field from an accredited college or university and a minimum of four years of relevant experience.
• MS degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Programming, Information Science, Management Information Systems from an accredited college or university and a minimum of two years of relevant experience.
• Previous experience with COTS application installation, configuration and maintenance.
• Experience supporting SAAS/Web applications that utilize Microsoft IIS and Windows Server OS.
• Previous experience supporting document or records management applications (e.g., SharePoint, MicroFocus Content Manager/Control Point).
• Demonstrated ability in both verbal and written forms of communication with colleagues in a teaming environment.
• Demonstrated ability to work and communicate effectively with diverse teams.

Desired Experience

• Experience supporting Apache Tomcat or similar web server technology on Windows Server or Linux OS.
• Understanding and application of DISA STIGs on new COTS implementations for security hardening.
• Application development such as: Scripting, Integration/API development, Report Development (PowerBI or Crystal Reports) or data conversion work.
• Demonstrated experience in software programming, troubleshooting and problem resolution in one or more of C#, Visual Basic, JavaScript, SQL, or other related application development environments or languages.
• Broad knowledge of infrastructure (network and servers), services and security policies.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
