Threshold Brands is a private equity sponsored multi brand franchisor whose brands generate sales in excess of $250 million annually. All of our brands provide services for the homeowner. Today, we are 9 brands strong, supporting MaidPro, Men in Kilts, Patio Patrol, Pestmaster, USA Insulation, Plumbing Paramedics, Heating Paramedics, Granite Garage and Sir Grout. We are currently in search of a Accounts Payable Specialist to help manage the accounts payable and credit card processes for our corporate cash activity across several of our brands.


The ideal candidate will be located near Cleveland, Ohio; Reno, Nevada; Noblesville, Indiana; or Boston, Massachusetts, however we will consider other locations as well. Candidate must be completely capable and comfortable within a remote working environment.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage the accounts payable process, including:
    • Ensuring bills are paid in a timely and accurate manner while adhering to company and departmental procedures
    • Establish and maintain relationships with new and existing vendors
    • Manage vendor database, including collecting appropriate tax and supporting documentation, as well as periodically auditing to ensure accuracy
    • Provide and monitor essential control functions (accounting and financial systems), including, but not limited to, confirmation of appropriate approval processes and coordination of internal control compliance efforts
    • Utilize and support existing financial software and the migration to future platforms and Accounts Payable automation tools
    • Analyzing workflow processes for potential improvements
  • Provide instructions to new users of the company’s credit card, expense reimbursement, and/or invoice approval tools.
  • Post cash receipts for certain legal entities.
  • Reconcile certain bank and credit card accounts.
  • Support annual external audit process for the company, with additional support provided to the Controller as needed.
  • Provide recommendations to improve processes and implement best practices.
  • Manage/administer the company’s global system for managing expense reimbursement.
  • Help transition certain brands to the company’s standard tools and processes.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILL SET


  • Experience with QuickBooks, NetSuite or other comparable financial systems.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Advanced knowledge of G-Suite Applications.
  • Attention to detail, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills are essential.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
  • Minimum five years of accounts payable experience.
  • Experience with bank account and credit card reconciliations.
