Senior Bookkeeper and Cloud Accountant

Your previous experience in multi-client, multi-entity, and/or CPA/CAS firm environments greatly contributes to success in this role.

Our ideal candidate will have:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting strongly preferred
• 3+ years experience with Quickbooks Online (ProAdvisor certification preferred)
• Strong working knowledge of full cycle bookkeeping, accounting principles, monthly close, and financial statements
• Innate attention to detail
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Strong verbal, organizational, interpersonal, and written communication skills
• Experience working in multi-client, multi-entity, and/or CPA firm environments strongly preferred
• The ability and interest to multi-task, problem solve, and work independently as well as part of our team
• Experience with ADP, Paychex or Gusto a plus
• Experience with our core cloud accounting tech stack apps (BILL, Google HoursTracker, Karbon or similar) a plus
• Experience running reports from third party platforms like Shopify, Toast, Square, Paypal, Stripe, Boulevard and/or Vagaro to record monthly entries a plus
• Preferably own a Windows-based machine

Compensation, benefits and work environment:

• $30-35/hour depending on experience
• This is a temp-to-hire position starting at 5-10 (flexible and 100% virtual) hours per week as a contractor with the ability to grow with Pai to 20-25+ hours per week (or more at your discretion) as an employee over approximately three months
• Inclusion in the firm’s SIMPLE IRA plan upon conversion to W-2 status. Pai matches your contributions up to 3%.
