Clinical Operations is responsible for providing clinical specialties support and expertise in the areas of advice and consulting, research and patient care to internal business units and external customers.
Clinical Specialty is responsible for providing quality, timely, granular and actionable data for selected operational and clinical metrics, as well as tracking and identifying trends for healthcare data and providing benchmark comparisons for healthcare providers.
Community Health Canter 340B Program Coordinator
The 340B program allows healthcare providers who are responsible for larger proportions of vulnerable patients the ability to purchase medications at a reduced price. The 340B Program Coordinator serves as the primary program coordinator and liaison for 340B related matters. This position provides insight and leadership from the department of pharmacy for the 340B program.
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
Position will allow a hybrid work from home model (on-site at least bi-weekly and for any related on-site meetings as required at Santa Rosa Clinics).

Serve as the primary program coordinator and liaison for 340B-related matters.
Serve as the covered entity’s compliance expert on 340B Program details, policies, procedures, and inventory.
Act as the liaison with necessary affiliated departments to ensure 340B Program integrity.
Lead the organization’s 340B oversight committee, which includes members from senior leadership, pharmacy, compliance, legal, and finance.
Provide expertise with the 340B Program to staff and participants regarding ongoing compliance.
Develop and maintain internal relationships (accounting, legal, national) and external relationships (wholesalers, manufacturers, contract pharmacies, split-billing software vendors, pharmacy benefits managers (PBMs), and third-party administrator (TPA) vendors) as needed.
Actively engaged with senior leadership and participate in decision-making processes related to the implementation of new 340B processes.
Will be an active participant in P&T Committee meetings.
Responsibilities:

Ensures that policies and procedures are developed, implemented, and maintained according to organizational, regional, national, state, and federal requirements and guidelines and are approved by the institution’s legal department.
Establishes consistent policies and procedures for 340B that ensure productivity and efficiency so that long-term management of the program does not hamper operations or create unnecessary costs.
Ensures that the 340B pharmacy program is continuously compliant with 340B federal regulations.
Responsible for ensuring that the annual HRSA recertification is completed within the allowable time frame.
Develops, executes, and documents self-audits of the 340B process. Coordinates and ensures remediation of findings.
Evaluates patient eligibility for qualified and non-qualified patients in hospital-based mixed-use areas and clinics by reviewing patient medical records, insurance plans, and hospital status.
Monitors 340B compliance within workflow processes.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED
5+ years of 340B experience preferred
Pharmacy Technician license in California or willing to obtain
Ability to work independently and a team player
